Mountain is YC EDC's second design product. Like his first product Breakthrough, Mountain is a floating slider focused on tricks gameplay. This is an extremely smooth and stable slider. For many tricks movements, you can do them more easily with Mountain slider.
Patch design
The patch is fixed with a screw, so you don't have to worry about it falling off during intense play.
The patch can be replaced. There are some exotic material patches which you can buy and replace them by yourself.
The default patch is a polished blue anode made of titanium alloy. You can try to do secondary processing yourself.
Shell design
The shell follows ergonomic design, significantly improving the grip stability of the index and middle fingers on the lower slider.
The lower part of the first joint of the index finger is tightly attached to the groove in the middle, increasing friction and grip strength.
Middle arch and surrounding depression of the shell shape are used to enhance the wrapping sensation of the middle finger.
Plate design
Realize line contact through multiple bridges.
During the tricks gameplay, multiple lines intersect and attract each other, while ensuring movement speed, smoothness, and stability.
Other designs
Ti Mountain and Ti Breakthrough can exchange their shells and plates.
Can be mounted on YC EDC Limit Dog Tag.
The height of the internal magnet groove has been increased by 0.02mm, allowing for the placement of silent cotton.
The functions of the Dog Tag:
1. Necklace pendant. You can attract the Mountain slider onto it, quickly install and disassemble.
2. Middle layer with lanyard. It will change Mountain into a three-layer structure, with the middle layer tied with lanyard to improve grip stability and open up more fancy gameplay.
3. The Dog tag is not only suitable for Mountain, but also for other floating sliders of similar size.

The YC EDC Mountain floating slider has been made by someone who really knows their stuff.
Although I don’t have his level of skill, the slider is absolutely fantastic straight out of the box.

I’ve tried sliders from several makers, including Magnus and FidgetBoy, but YC EDC’s Breakthrough and Mountain sliders are on another level entirely. The Mountain stands out because of its unique asymmetric magnet layout, which opens the door to tricks you simply cannot pull off with most other sliders. One of the most satisfying moves is spinning one half in a full 360 and watching it snap perfectly back into place.
The responsiveness is phenomenal. With the Mountain, every flick of a finger or twist of the wrist is met with a snappy, precise action. By comparison, sliders from other brands tend to feel sluggish, with the plates drifting slowly from one position to another. Ergonomics are another area where YC EDC excels—many makers go too thin, sacrificing grip and limiting what you can do. The Mountain has the best feel in hand of any slider I’ve owned, making extended play both comfortable and versatile.
This slider is so good that I bought a second one and decided to sell off my Magnus sliders. YC EDC has set a new benchmark for what sliders can be, and the Mountain is easily the most fun, satisfying, and well-designed piece in my collection.
