The NFE Transmitter was first released in April 2023, with SS and Ti black as the initial material options. Its scarcity—resulting from small-batch production—made it a highly sought-after item among EDC enthusiasts. Benefiting from upgraded factory automation and optimized EDC structural engineering, Wanwu Studio has unveiled the next-generation linked fidget spinner. This new NFE Transmitter not only expands the gameplay repertoire but also unlocks extensive customization possibilities for DIY modifications.
Double-sided asymmetric design + CNC hollowed-out craft = next-level EDC aesthetics! Inside. A magnetic ratchet ring enables bidirectional linkage. You can achieve different linked tactile feedback by swapping out the beads, buckyballs, and springs.
Factory Modes:
Mode 1: Rotate the outer ring counterclockwise, and it will slowly drive the inner ring, accompanied by the soft collision sound of the beads. When stopped, both rings come to a synchronous halt.
Mode 2: Rotate the outer ring clockwise, and both rings will spin together. After stopping the outer ring, the inner ring will continue to rotate briefly and emit a rapid clattering sound of the beads.
Buckyball Mode:
The inner ring supports beads replacement. If replaced with buckyballs, an adsorption-based gameplay can be unlocked. Place the buckyballs in the inner ring grooves; when rotated, the beads roll along the walls, and the drop at the end creates a clear segmented feel, adding operational fun.
Spring Mode:
The inner ring supports springs installation. After installation, rotating the cover clockwise will drive the inner ring and ratchet to link with each other, accompanied by clear and rhythmic staggered feedback sounds, providing a decompression experience similar to that of a "Haptic".
All the various beads and springs required for the above DIY gameplay are included in the accessory pack, so no additional purchase is necessary.
The SS version is the regular model. Equipped with a standard 9-slot ratchet ring.
The Zirc version is limited to 88 pcs worldwide. Equipped with 1 segmented ratchet ring (6-slot) and 1 dense ratchet ring (12-slot). If you purchase the Zirc version, there is a 10% chance of obtaining the Easter Egg version.
