The new material of Quirky Ruler is coming. The main body is G10. The patch and track are SS material. It has 5 color options.
The smooth hand feel and tactile clicking feedback of the G10 version are better than those of the full-metal version. It is also lighter in weight and more resistant to bumps and scratches. You can truly carry and use it as a ruler in daily life.
Quirky Ruler is a product jointly developed by EDCELL Studio and ROGUE Studio. It is a ruler that can measure men up to 20 cm.
Quirky Ruler has two functions, caliper and slider.
Caliper function:
As a regular ruler, it can measure a length of 6 cm when closed. The maximum measurement in the unfolded state is 10 cm. When used as a caliper, the maximum measurement range is 4 cm. The accuracy can be precise to millimeters.
Slider function:
This is a mechanical slider with dense tracks. There are two 3mm spring holes. Totally 20 paragraphs. Each paragraph is exactly 2 mm away from the reading. Fully unfolded is exactly 4 cm. The tactile design is soft, so it won't be too tiring to play with. There are magnets inside, which makes it difficult to loosen when closed, and has a slight automatic reset effect when pushed out and then closed.
After pushing open the slider, you can see 9 luminous tube slots with a size of 1.5 * 6mm. The front is engraved with Epimetheus. I guess it's a foolish god. The back is engraved with the names of two studios.
The box is equipped with some spare springs, beads, screws, washers, and a screwdriver. You can adjust the feel by yourself.
