Do you still remember the Monkey Mind floating slider by TiGo EDC? This time, TiGo EDC has designed the next-generation iteration of Monkey Mind — Creation. And he entrusted its good partner Bright Blood EDC with the production and distribution.
The design inspiration of Creation derives from ancient Chinese myths and legends. In the remote primeval era, the universe resembled a chaotic egg. Pangu wielded his giant axe to split heaven and earth apart, dividing the chaos into the sky above and the land below. He then transformed every part of his body into various elements of nature, including wind, clouds, thunder, the sun, the moon, rivers and so on.
The Creation Slider is the symbol of these natural elements. Beige represents fossil; orange symbolizes the scorching sun; green stands for nature; blue embodies surging waves; and red signifies molten lava.
Creation is a magnet floating slider. The front side features the logo of BB EDC, while the reverse is adorned with Chinese calligraphy of the word "Creation". Measuring just the size of the first knuckle of a thumb, this mini-sized gadget is surprisingly capable of executing all the fancy tricks that a full-sized floating slider can do. It is extremely easy to handle with zero learning curve. As you slide it, a subtle rustling sound can be heard, generated by the vibration of the internal magnets.
It will be released in the form of mystery boxes, with a total of five variants available. Among them, the beige one is crafted from PEEK, while the orange, green, blue and red variants are made of G10 Damascus.
This release is the advance edition, which does not come with a paper box packaging but makes up for it with a more affordable price. The upcoming official edition will also feature additional color options, with a slight possible price increase.
